Hyem Frames is a high-performance timber frame system that features composite engineered studwork with integral wood fibre insulation, reducing thermal bridging and improving thermal performance. The sysyem has been developed through a combination of architectural thinking and practical construction experience.

We work with architects, developers, and contractors to deliver better building fabric—reducing complexity on site while improving thermal performance, build quality, and programme certainty.

Integrated Perfomance 

Structure, insulation, and airtightness are designed as a single system rather than separate layers. We can reach U-values as low as 0.13W/(m2K) within a single wall or roof system. 

Efficient Construction

Panelised manufacture reduces on-site labour, minimises material waste and simplifies sequencing.

Initial Consultation

We begin with a review of your project, drawings, and objectives.

This stage focuses on understanding; architectural intent, performance targets, programme and budget considerations. Early input allows us to identify opportunities to improve buildability and integrate the system efficiently within the design.

Design & Proposal

We develop a coordinated timber frame proposal aligned with your project.

This typically includes; system selection, indicative wall and roof build-ups, performance considerations, coordination with architectural drawings. Proposals are presented as refinements, supporting the design rather than redefining it, helping to enhance performance, simplify construction, and improve delivery certainty.

Manufacturing

Once the design is agreed, the system is produced as a panelised timber frame under controlled factory conditions. This allows for: improved accuracy and consistency, integrated insulation within the structural zone, reduced material waste, better quality control compared to site-built methods

The result is a coordinated system ready for efficient installation.
